My Story

Maria has been passionate about weddings since childhood, a dream that led her to pursue a career as a professional wedding and event planner.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College in 2010, building a strong foundation for entrepreneurship. In 2011, she completed a specialized certification in Wedding and Event Planning through the U.S. Career Institute.

After gaining hands-on experience with an established Central Pennsylvania wedding planner from 2017 to 2021—including expertise in catering and vendor coordination—Maria launched Hidden Gem Weddings and Events in January 2021.

Through Hidden Gem, she delivers personalized, high-touch planning for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations of all sizes. Known for her warm, enthusiastic personality and meticulous attention to detail, Maria is deeply committed to bringing her clients’ visions to life. She finds the greatest reward in the heartfelt gratitude of couples who tell her she made their dream day a reality.
